Our field in April 2012.
We are thrilled to announce that we have been selected to be Farmers in Residence at Phillies Bridge Farm Project! What does this mean? We will be growing at Phillies Bridge Farm as Partners Trace Farm for our CSA members. We will also be managing the farm at Phillies and growing for our local CSA members, restaurants, markets, and Farm to Families. The opportunity to partner with and work for Phillies and to get to grow for so many people is amazing for us. We're still Certified Naturally Grown. Our philosophy is the same-we believe in treating our land as a whole, interconnected entity—we work for our land so it is able to work for us. We use non-chemical fertilizers, cover cropping, companion planting, and crop rotation to leave the land better than we found it. We treat our animals with respect and compassion, feeding them natural grains when they are not rotating through pasture. We'd love you to get in touch and visit!
We are primarily a CSA Farm: Community Supported Agriculture is a common business model allowing a small farm to grow. Members join in the winter/early spring before the growing season starts. Your payment helps our farm buy seeds and other supplies for the year. In exchange for your investment in our farm, we grow you what you've ordered, and
you pick it up at the same time and location every week.
